a few times before*. As long as you are a horse lover! Whether you ride English or Western you will be able to

What do I wear for my ride?
You do not need special clothes for riding Icelandic. Jeans should be
fine. In cold weather, be sure to bundle up. No special riding boots are needed, however you should wear a shoe or boot with
a heel.
What about riding helmets?
We have a supply in all sizes. You MUST wear a riding helmet
that meets ASTM/SEI standards. If you have your own helmet with you, bring it along.
What is an Icelandic Saddle?
Saddles made in Iceland are primarily used for endurance (long distance)
riding. As a result, the quilted seats are extremely comfortable. The stirrups hang long, so you ride with a straighter leg.
You do not need to post (standing and sitting to the beat of horse’s trot) when riding Icelandic Horses.
What are the terms and conditions of this riding experience?
Viking Horse reserves the right to cancel any ride for any reason. When
we cancel a prepaid reservation, including for inclement weather, a full refund will be issued.
Inclement weather is defined as extreme rain, ice, snow or heat.
Is there any weight restriction?
Maximum rider weight = 220 pounds.
